Project Profile

The extent of the land is approximately 160 perches. Overall building complex consist of 10 storied block, 8 storied block, 3 storied block, entrance foyer, pond and courtyard which is located at the centre and a car port. Gross area of the building is 92,000 square feet approximately. Form of the building complex is of reinforced concrete formed structure supported on pile foundation.

he two major buildings of the complex (10 and 8 storied) have 02 Nos. passenger lifts and one service lift, in addition there are two nos. staircases and one fire escape staircase which run to its full height. Three storied block which is linked to the two major buildings also have a staircase.

Three storied block roof covering is of Zn/aluminum sheets supported on steel trussed frame and the rest is reinforced concrete roof slabs. The roof consists of RCC gutters and PVC down pipes. In addition there is a lightning protection system.

The complex is equipped with air conditioning system catering for specified areas, 3 phase stand by power supply, fire detection & protection system, water supply system, etc... In addition to the building complex the premises consist of an open area car park and a road network with side drains and street lighting.

Services Provided

The Water Supply System consists of 02 nos. under ground sumps. The 72000 l capacity sump serves the service water supply system and the 90000 l capacity sump serves the fire fighting system. The service water system consists with an overhead tank of capacity 36000 l, 1 no. submersible pump, 2 nos. booster pumps, water level sensors, control panel etc. The pipe network covers the complete water distribution system on the complex.

The building complex consists of a computer network cabling system for 300 computers. In addition conduting to telephone cabling is also provided. In general doors and windows are of glazed Al type. For service areas there are aluminium framed and standard plywood doors. Fire doors are provided to the fire escape lobby. Toilets are provided with marine plywood doors with Al frames. Doors opened to air conditioned areas are provided with door closures. The opening to court yard from each floor also is of glass curtain wall.

Six different types of floor finishes were used in this building complex.

  • Hard wood plank framing
   

External walls are finished with rough plaster and completed with two coats of weather shield paint. Internal walls and soffits are finished with smooth plaster and completed with two coats of emulsion paint. In addition toilet walls are finished with ceramic wall tiles up to a height of 1.5m.
